Luxury is decided in the last millimetre. Our Approved Craftsman Network and the Mahligai Standard ensure that stone, timber, glass and finishes are executed, inspected and documented to a tolerance worthy of the design.

A beautiful drawing can be undone by an uneven joint. Our Approved Craftsman Network brings together specialists in stone, timber joinery, glazing and façade, doors and ironmongery, lighting, plaster and paint, waterproofing, mechanical and electrical services, air-conditioning, automation, pools and landscape. Each trade is assessed on workmanship, finishing tolerance, reliability, documentation, site conduct and experience with luxury materials, and each is chosen for the work it does best.

Before a material is committed, it is proven. Full-size mock-ups let you see a wall of stone or a run of joinery in real light. Major custom pieces are inspected at the factory or workshop before they are shipped, and long-lead items are procured early so that no decision is rushed. Stone slabs are selected and laid out for book-matching, so that the veining reads as one continuous surface across a wall or floor.

The Mahligai Standard is our inspection regime, applied throughout construction rather than only at the end. It covers wall alignment, tile lippage, stone book-matching, paint tolerances, waterproofing, joinery alignment, lighting colour temperature, switch heights, air-conditioning noise, water pressure, drainage, window seals, pool commissioning and smart-home testing, among others. Findings are recorded, resolved and gathered into the Mahligai Quality Dossier, presented to you at handover as the record of how your residence was made.
